U11 BLUE FIND SUCCESS AT FALL BALL

At the Tri State Futbol Alliance Fall Ball Classic [October 1 & 2], the Fishers Soccer Club U11 Boys Blue team captured the championship in U11 Purple Division. The team won all four of their games and showed great spirit and development throughout the tournament. Due to the shortage of U11 players the team was comprised of five U11's and five U10's, and they performed like they have been playing together for years. Congratulations to all of the boys and coaches.

FISHERS SC PLAYERS ATTEND COLUMBUS CREW GAME

On Saturday, July 23, 2011, over 20 FSC players, ranging in age from U9 to U14, took the field at the Columbus Crew MLS Stadium, prior to the Crew taking on the Portland Timbers. Players, coaches and parents were escorted onto the field where they played mini games for about 30 minutes. The grass is AMAZING (and it’s real grass, not turf)!! Players split into two groups and enjoyed the feeling of playing on a professional field.

Fishers SC at Crew Game

After the scrimmage, everyone watched the MLS players warm up. Four of our players were selected to be ball boys (kids) for the game. Alex Lucas and Sean Taylor from the 98B Red Team (U14) and Kamryn Benscoter and Megan Williams from 99G Red Team (U13). They were thrilled and had a great experience being on the field for the game!

The Crew won 1-0 with an exciting goal in the 79th minute of the game. The win ties them for 1st place with Philadelphia in their division.
