Indianapolis Premier Soccer Club ( IPSC )

Indianapolis Premier Soccer Club (IPSC) was founded in 2006 as a joint venture between Fishers Soccer Club and Noblesville United Soccer Club to provide Northeast Indianapolis area high school age players the opportunity to develop their skills and participate in the IPSChighest level soccer.

If you are looking for a competitive and rewarding opportunity for a U15 to U18 player we encourage you to look at the programs and opportunities offered by our partner in soccer, IPSC.

For more detailed information, visit the IPSC website.

Take a few moments to review Nick's presentation geared at introducing you to IPSC.  [ download presentation ]  Then take a few more moments to review Nick's follow-up Q&A note for those who missed the intor sessions.

Parents,

For those of you who were unable to attend one of our two informational meetings I have attached the presentation. Also below are some questions I have fielded from parents after the presentation. I would greatly encourage you to take the time to read this and approach me with any questions you have. Misconceptions are always out there and the aim of this is to give you all the correct information and to end the preconceived notions. Please don't hesitate to bring up any questions you have. We are in this to help your son/daughter not only become the best player they can possibly be but even more important a fine young man or woman. IPSC has and will continue to move forward. IPSC, along with FSC, will have one of if not the best coaching staff's in all of Indiana.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the 6-player rule?

The 6-player rule states that no club team can have more than 6 players from one high school. The wiggle room here is that if a player for any reason does not play high school soccer, or if you are a U15 team with 8th graders as part of your roster, neither count against your 6 players.

Such and Such club has stated that we can bring our whole team over and stay together, is that true?

Absolutely not. The entire state must adhere to these rules and if anyone tells you that they are leading you along.

How do we deal with the 6-player rule?

IPSC is an open club. Which means players from anywhere can come and play for our teams. We have over 15 high schools currently comprising IPSC teams.

What do we do if our son or daughter is a trapped player?

Tryout for IPSC and be placed on a team. In the fall we are now offering a 10 week training and game schedule where we will work with trapped players as well as any player who decides they do not want to play high school soccer for whatever reason. 2 Trainings a week for an hour each time with 6 game dates. All at New Hope

I have heard IPSC has not put any players in college? Is that true? How will that effect my child?

No that is not true. This spring will be our first graduating class who have played through IPSC their entire U15 and above career. We are in the process of getting player commitments on the website. The past of the club has 0 effect on the future. You must understand having a Director of Coaching at IPSC is a brand new thing. The amount of players going on to college will greatly increase as we move forward. As stated in the power point our Premier teams as well as our Black teams will be focusing on college showcases which will get your child evaluated by college coaches. Any club that guarantees your child will get a scholarship is flat out lying. IPSC can and will put you in a position to be evaluated by college coaches, but there is no club in the country that can promise a player they will get a college scholarship, that is entirely up to the interested college and their coaching staff.

What about name recognition? Will we be able to get in to high level showcase tournaments?

Absolutely. With wonderful aids today such as gotsoccer, a teams information is constantly stored online. Also state associations and tournament selection committees are made aware of the name change by the following when registering: IPSC 97 Girls Premier team (formerly Fishers 97 Girls Red). We have had many teams this season alone make it into top flight college showcases (for example:CASL in Raleigh, NC; Ohio Elite Showcase, Ohio Galaxies Showcase, John Talley Showcase (Memphis), Germantown Select Invitational, Carmel United Crossroads Showcase) The fact is regardless of what people outside of IPSC and FSC say we are and will continue to get into high level tournaments.

Bottom line is this: IPSC will have one of the best coaching staff's in Indiana.

We will push your son or daughter to become the best they can, we will put them in a training environment to succeed and be challenged, and we will put your son or daughter in a situation to be evaluated by college coaches

And finally, I know almost all of the presentation and a good majority of the FAQ's have focused on college. This is the route we go with our top teams. That is not to say that there is no place for anyone who wants to stay competitive for high school soccer or play for sheer enjoyment out of the game. We will have high quality coaches at every level and we are not in the habit of pushing away children who want to play. There is a place at IPSC for those who have aspirations of moving to the next level as well as those who play for pure love of the game.

Come be a part of IPSC and let us show you what we are capable of.

thanks for your time
