Fishers Soccer Club (FSC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1979 and incorporated under the name Fisher Youth Soccer League (FYSL). The founding purpose of the organization was to teach the fundamentals of soccer, to promote physical fitness and sportsmanship, and to provide a vehicle for organized athletic competition. Today’s mission is to provide families of our growing community the environment to enrich their lives through the soccer experience. Our vision is to be the leader in the total soccer experience.

The Fishers Soccer Club has a long and rich history in the community since 1979. The history can best be summarized into three eras of growth. The first era, 1979-1986, we were known as the Fishers Youth Soccer League (FYSL), the club was a small neighborhood soccer program comprised of approximately 200 participants. The soccer fields were located on 116th Street where the Sunblest neighborhood is now located. The soccer program was primarily overshadowed by football and baseball in the community, but had a solid reputation in the Northeast Indianapolis area.
The second era, 1986-1996, was an era of maturity. During these years FYSL added a competitive travel program that included girl’s teams, a spring program for the recreational program, and a Halloween weekend tournament for the travel program. Overall number of participants increased and there was an increase of available soccer field space.
The third era, 1996-2004, was when FYSL began doing business as Fishers Soccer Club. During these years, there was explosive growth in the program, which included a comprehensive recreational and travel program for both boys and girls. FSC established a presence within Indiana Youth Soccer (IYS) and become the largest soccer program in the state.
The fourth era 2005-2009 saw the club grow to 2300 total participants (Rec & Travel) and saw the club make steady improvements both on and off the field, with increased success on the Travel side and an improved overall club reputation in the soccer community.
The modern era 2009-Present started with the appointment of a new Director of Coaching, Jamie Wood in May 2009, who returned to the club with the goal of improving club standards of coaching and education.
FSC now boasts the most educated Training Staff in the state and has build a reputation of being one of the best run clubs in Indiana, both on the Travel & Rec sides.
Our current Recreational Program supports full year, fall only, and spring only options for ages 4 through 14. For high school age players, FSC offers a coed Rec Plus program.
The Travel Program at FSC currently offers opportunities for U8-U14 age players at all levels of competition, and our high schol age sister club IPSC offers play for players in the U15-U18 age groups.
